Your bill payment may be denied for credit reporting for a variety of reasons, including:
- The selected payment was made from a third-party processor such as Zelle, PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, etc. We are not currently able to report these payment types as utilities.
- We could not verify your service provider.
- Your payment does not count as a recurring payment to a phone service, electric, utility, water, or gas service provider.
- The payee does not match the utility provider in your bank’s digital transaction data.
By law, we are required to verify your identity, transactions, service providers, and other information before we can report them to the credit bureaus.
