What if I pay a different amount each month?

If the amount you pay each month varies, you can still build credit.

You might pay a slightly different amount each month if your utilities are included in your rent or if you have to pay any additional fees to your landlord. If this describes you, you can still report your rent with LevelCredit!

Your base rent is what we report as paid to the bureaus each month. However, you can still match a transaction for a slightly more or less of an amount. LevelCredit will automatically match payments that are close to the total amount of your base rent.

If your monthly rent amount is significantly different from the first transaction you matched when you were signing up, you may have to login and re-match your next transaction due to the significant difference.

If your rent payment is more than 10% higher or lower than your base rent, you will have to login to LevelCredit and identify the transaction manually since the system will not be able to detect it. Once you confirm which payment was your rent, it will be reported as normal.

We are committed to reporting accurate information only. If we detect fraudulent reporting, your tradeline will be removed.
