How does Rent+Bills verify what payments are eligible for reporting?

For bill payments like water, electric, gas, and cell phone, you’ll need to first verify the bank account used to make these payments using our partner service, Plaid. 

For rent payments, you can either verify a bank account or another accepted payment method.

Once the payment method used to pay your rent or bills, and the bill accounts are verified, you control what rent and bill payments get reported to build your credit history.
