For rent payments, we can report payments made via money transfer apps (like Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, or PayPal) as long as the payment comes from a bank account and the payee matches who you pay rent to.
For example, if you pay via Venmo and the payment pulls funds directly from your bank account and the payee matches who you pay rent to, we can use that to report rent payments. But if you pay using a standing Venmo balance instead, we may not be able to accept the payment, or may request additional proof of payment.
For bills, our system scans your bank transactions for payments that are easily identified and verified as utility and bill payments. This means we are able to accept some payments made via money transfer apps, but it varies depending on the transaction details and if your utility provider accepts these types of payments.
