While you are not able to share a rent or bills subscription with another person (like a husband, wife, or roommate), both you and the person you live with may be able to build credit using your shared monthly rent or bill payments.
For both of you to get credit for payments, you’ll need individual accounts for rent or bills reporting through Self.
If you share a bank account, both names must be listed on the account, and both people must have access to log in and link the account via Plaid.
If you each pay a portion of rent from different bank accounts, connect your personal bank account and match your portion of the rent payment to your rent reporting subscription at Self.
