Before we can start reporting your rent and bill payments through Rent+Bills, you need to complete the verification process. This keeps your account secure by verifying your bank account, utility and rent accounts, identity, and more. It also gives us the info we need to report your payments to the credit bureaus.
This process can take up to 2 weeks before we report to the credit bureaus for the first time. After that, each time your rent or bill payment clears your bank account, we typically find and report your payment to the credit bureaus within the next 24 hours.
That said, the credit bureaus can sometimes take up to 1 month to update your credit reports after we send your info.
