Moving out can be stressful, but it's super easy to update your information in LevelCredit.
Login to your account and give us your move-out details and we'll close your old lease and tradeline with the credit bureaus. If you are moving into another rental, you can add your new address to keep reporting your rent payments.
Your reported payments will be locked in on your credit report in good standing and will stay on your credit profile for 10 years. Once your tradeline is closed, we won't be able to report any more rent payments for your previous address.
As long as you keep your subscription active, you can always add your new lease information to continue building your payment history to get the credit you deserve!
Below are the instructions on how to initiate the move out process from your dashboard:
- Log into your LevelCredit account
- Click on your rental address.
- Click the 3 gray dots on the right side of your address.
- Select the option "Mark as closed"
This will walk you through the move-out process.
After you have done this you will be able to add your new rental address and the old address will be closed in good standing with the bureaus.
